There’s a new way to play in Riverside and Avondale! What if I told you the Jacksonville Transportation Authority had a fun solution to help you bar hop? It’s true! The Riverside Avondale Night Trolley is up and running every Friday and Saturday from 6pm until 2am. The trolley is easy to navigate as it stops at every JTA sign posted along the route. It runs from Five Points, down through Avondale along St. Johns Avenue, and back up to the the King Street area. Not only are there tons (TONS!) of restaurants and bars to visit, but many offer deals to Night Trolley riders by showing your trolley pass or digital trolley pass.

Riverside Avondale Night Trolley – Route Map
How do you get in on this sweet weekend action? The easiest way is to download the MyJTA app on your smartphone. You can quickly create an account and buy tickets. Everything is then done from the app, no exact change or pass cards necessary. If you just don’t want to give up that precious memory space on your phone you can always buy per ride, $1.50 exact change required upon entry, or buy a STAR pass for unlimited rides all night for $4. STAR cards can be purchased at a variety of merchants in the area. Check the JTA website for vendors.
