Technically July is National Ice Cream month but our friends at YOUR PIE (they’ve got two stores – one in Fleming Island and one in Tapestry Park near Tinsel Town on Southside Boulevard) are celebrating with FREE GELATO for everyone this Sunday, July 18th from 11 am until 9 pm.
Kids Love Gelato!!
Gelato means “frozen” in Italian and it is often referred to as the Italian version of ice cream. If you’re counting calories, you’ll love the fact too that gelato is made from milk versus cream so it’s got less calories than traditional ice cream. On any given day YOUR PIE serves up twelve different flavors at both of their locations. Flavors range from simple (vanilla bean and chocolate) to kid-friendly favorites (think cookies & cream or mint chocolate chip) and more (caramel sea salt, tiramisu, etc). You’ll also find at least four sorbet (fruit and water) options in the case too. Strawberry is their best seller followed closely by a surprisingly refreshing Blood Orange – with Lemon and Raspberry rounding out this month’s offerings.
This Sunday anyone who stops by either of their two locations will be treated to a FREE scoop of their choice of gelato or sorbet. No strings attached. No purchase required. Just ice cold yummy goodness of your choosing – how cool is that?!
