On December 5th we had the pleasure of co-hosting a food truck rally along with the Jax Food Truck Food Court at Academy Sports & Outdoors on Atlantic Boulevard. The rally benefited Foster Closet, a local charity which serves as a free resource for families with foster children.
Foster Closet provides these families much needed furniture, clothing, toys, and other daily needs for these children, free of cost. With the support of the participating trucks and all the folks who came out to the food truck rally, we were able to raise over $1000 for Foster Closet. Foster Closet could not help these children without the support of our community. When small businesses work together to support local charities, we are defining what our community stands for and what we want Jacksonville to be. A tremendous thank you to the following food trucks for donating a percentage of their profits to help these foster families in need:
Please consider frequenting these food trucks, as they show true support of our amazing city. For more information on Foster Closet and their mission, visit www.fostercloset.org.
