The 11th Annual PHINS Gumbo Fest is this Saturday, April 2nd, at the Jacksonville Landing from 11 am to 4 pm. The annual battle for the best gumbo in Jacksonville will benefit the Gleaner’s Dispatch for Food Distribution here in Jacksonville. This is an event we love to attend because every year the proceeds go to tackle the pressing issue of hunger on the First Coast.

For the second year in a row, we will be judging alongside our partners I Know Jax to determine which gumbo is the best! There is also a People’s Choice Award that can be voted on throughout the event. You can also enjoy live music all day long and tasty libations to indulge on in between gumbo tastings. Voters can purchase as many votes as they’d like for their favorite gumbo! Make sure to bring non-perishable canned goods as well to be donated to Gleaner’s Dispatch. We hope to see you there!
