You may remember a few months ago seeing some of your favorite restaurants and businesses campaigning for your vote in Jacksonville Magazine’s annual Best of Jacksonville poll. You may have seen the Jacksonville Magazine logo plastered across countless local social media pages, all with links directing you to fill out the online poll.
For years now, Jacksonville Magazine has set out to compile an annual list of all the best things in Jacksonville, using feedback and opinions directly from some of the most influential people in town – you! Thousands of readers weighed in on this year’s poll, filling out a seemingly endless list of their favorites. The list included favorite places for shopping, best salons and spas, best activities for kids, top spots to take in arts and culture, best local blog, and more.

Well, the results are in and it turns out that we here at Jax Restaurant Reviews owe all of you, our incredible readers, a huge THANK YOU! Thanks to your votes, we won the title of top Local Food Instagram. I know I’ve found myself salivating over some of the food photos on our Instagram account. It’s good to know that I’m not the only one – there are other foodies in town who also appreciate those mouthwatering pictures. Thanks so much for your support and for taking the time to vote for us!
And congrats to all the other winners! It is an honor to be listed among so many amazing local businesses. There are a ton of wonderful small businesses on the list. We hope you take the time to pick up the May issue of Jacksonville Magazine and check some of them out. We, of course, honed right in on the food section of the list…because food. The Jacksonville food scene is growing by leaps and bounds and our city is becoming a major food destination. That probably comes as no surprise to you, our foodie followers, who are out and about eating your way through town on a regular basis.
